Session Information
The Shadow Board is a central part of SECAmb’s Engagement Framework, giving colleagues a structured platform to influence strategy and leadership decisions.
Comprising 13 diverse members representing various roles and backgrounds, it meets before each Trust Board session to review papers, discuss topics, and provide live feedback.
Chaired by a Non-Executive Director and supported by senior leaders, it is not a decision-making body but promotes insight, innovation, and inclusive culture. Members serve two-year terms with protected time and development support.
Since its Spring 2025 launch, the Shadow Board has fostered motivation, collaboration, and leadership growth while bridging strategic leadership and frontline perspectives.
